KYISHA VELAZQUEZ, Licensed Professional Counselor, MS, LPC
A lifelong resident of New Haven dedicated to contributing to the welfare of her community, she holds two Master's Degrees from Post University and Walden University and is working towards a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Prior to establishing her private practice, she was a significant contributor to organizations spanning several industries, including the Non-Profit, Corporate, Medical, and Clinical Therapy sectors. From her very first job as a camp counselor at Farnham Neighborhood House in Fair Haven, it was apparent to her that her true passion was to promote positive change within her community, and on a personal-level, serve as a mentor and counselor to those who need help the most.
In 2019, in addition to establishing KV Training & Consultation, Kyisha also joined the faculty at Albertus Magnus College as an Adjunct Professor teaching Behavior Modification in their Undergraduate Psychology program.
